Hi Andy and all on this wonderful new forum. Im living in Kerikeri and i dig getting out for a fossick.
Im busy at the moment with work and also with a magazine i write called NZ Fossickers and Collectors magazine, we are currently on issue 2. Breaking into the magazine world is tough so i hope we make it thru the year.
My favorite finds are pre 1900 coins. Scored a beaut Queen Victoria 1895 Two Shilling (florin) last time out.
I use the mighty Garrett Ace 350 and hunt in all metal mode always.

    Cheers and Beers.

    Hi all.
Great to see some replies on me thread so here is a pic of my bad as self in action.
Pulled 80 coins plus that day, all decimals, man how those legs get sore later on. Best find was a silver 1885 Queen Victoria two shilling (florin) in choice condition complete with a wonderful black patina. This coin was the second one i found and it was over on a lonely spot somewhere i tried first up. I reckon it was waiting for me to come along and retrieve it as it seemed to be just there.
